TEST DRIVE MEME Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR. For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice! That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go: MINI-EVENTS 1 UH-OH! Everything is the wrong color, including you! Something happened recently and the Digital World has been scrambling to return the land to usual. Unfortunately, that means everything is constantly changing colors! 2 STREET GAMES REVISITED As found here, street games were held during the Damemon Parade Event to welcome all the new Chosen. With a new round of Chosen having arrived, areas of the city have been transformed into a giant party all over again. Hope you weren't planning on sleeping any time soon. 3 POWER PROBLEMS A swarm of Kunemon have invaded from the forest! Having electric attributes in their attacks, they're causing all sorts of power problems around the city. Can they be stopped before electrical fires start up? MISSIONS 1 THAT'S ENOUGH BLACKJACK FOR YOU 500 BIT In Terminal Tokyo there are two feuding Grizzlymon, and they're at it again! The two-Digimon justice squad is busy, but if you lend a hand or two in the matter, you'll net a decent reward for your trouble. 2 COMMUNITY SERVICE 600 BIT Help the Yokomon build some new homes! A few of their little houses got trampled and now they need new ones. 3 WHO SAID BABY DIGIMON WERE NICE? 300 BIT The baby Digimon in Primary Village are out of control! Something's upset them and Elecmon is having trouble wrangling them up. Elecmon's offering a reward to anyone who helps, but good luck catching those little buggers. 4 DIGIMON RESEARCH 800 BIT With not many Chosen or Digimon able to handle the cold, there's not a lot of information on hand about the Digimon who live in File Island's Ice Area. For those willing to freeze their butts off in the frigid temperatures, there will be a handsome reward and a mug of hot cocoa on their return. 5 TRAINING WITH CHOSEN 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort. And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect. (NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game).

Mission 2 - Yokomon housing troubles

[interconnect]

[ There is a young boy with some very cattish features perched atop one of the remaining buildings. His posture is languid and he looks incredibly disinclined to help out any of the other workers down there. Terriermon sits next to him, one ear draped across Sissel's shoulders. ]

They picked the wrong guy to ask for home improvement. How am I supposed to help when I don't even know what all of those tools do?

Well... you could always ask!

Hm. Maybe. Or I could keep watching first.

[powerbond]

[Not too far away on the same building is a Shunsui, hat over his face and looking as if he's asleep while his Commandramon is keeping watch beside him. At least he looks asleep up until he moves his hat out of his face so he can speak to his roof neighbor properly.]

You know, you could probably stay up here for a while. It doesn't looks like they're hurting for volunteers at the moment, so relax for a bit. You can figure everything else out later.

[interconnect]

[ Sissel looks over at the neighbor, shifting to lay on his side and watch the newcomer. (He certainly looks pretty careless. Not a bad idea, really.) ]

Don't you get that... bit-stuff if you help out, though?

You do, but they never said how long you have to help out for to get it, did they? Take your time getting down to help out.

[He is a very terrible influence. Get away while you still can, Sissel.]

[interconnect]

[ Heck no! This guy is preaching to the choir! ]

You make an excellent point. Besides, if they ask, I can always say I got stuck up here.

[ lol cats in trees, geddit ]

[The slacker choir. Let's just laze around and do stuff later. It's the best plan.]

See, now you're getting the point. And being the old man that I am, I couldn't help you off of this roof without hurting myself.

[Now Commandramon looks almost disapproving at his partner.]

You shouldn't be saying these sort of things, sir.

It's okay. If they really need some more people, the kid and I can help them out. Until then, let's just stay up here and enjoy a beautiful day.

[interconnect]

[ His tail swishes through the air subconsciously. The cut of this guy's jibe is very nicely in line with Sissel's. ]

Too bad! You're outvoted, my friend.

There's no harm in putting it off a little while longer, right? The sun is really nice today, and it's so warm right next to this desert.

[ Just thinking about it makes Sissel sleepy and he lets out a large yawn. ]

[Okay seriously Shunsui wants to adopt you, Sissel.]

This isn't proper behavior for any of you! If you were helping, maybe things would get done faster.

[Yeah, he's just ignoring his partner for now. Sorry Commandramon, you're no Nanao.]

There's no harm in it. Plenty of time for us to take a nap and then get to work helping out those digimon.

I wasn't aware there's some kind of time limit on all this. It'll be done when it's done.

[ Sissel considers it, then gets up enough to carefully make his away across the roof and lay down again closer to Kyouraku. Well, as long as the captain doesn't move and spook him, that is. Terriermon is right behind. ]

They've got plenty of shelter in the meantime.
