TEST DRIVE MEME--JUNE

TEST DRIVE MEME
Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR.

For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice!

That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go:

MINI-EVENTS

1) ON THE FRITZ!: Data gets scrambled from time-to-time and, unfortunately for you, so does your Digimon! The Digital World is having difficulty dealing with some of the Data, so all the Digimon are randomly changing back and forth from their digivolutions. Hope you have room for a giant dinosaur in your rooms! OH, DON'T STEP ON THE BOTAMON!
2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme!
3) ROCK PAPER SCISSORS--DUCK!: Sometimes the most juvenile of games becomes the most perfect way to relax. Why not enjoy a few rounds of everyone's favorite game "Rock Paper Scissors"? Just be careful. It seems a fewDracmon have decided to take this game quite literally and won't stop until you have beaten them at their own game. Just...beware of falling rocks, flying paper cranes, and sniping scissors...

MISSIONS

1) CALL THE EXTERMINATORS: 500 BIT Despite the battle that took place some time ago, it seems that a few Beemon made it out alive and are ready to terrorize the city once more. They aren't so great in numbers or strength, but they're still annoying nonetheless. Keep the city from falling apart, and receive a reward!
2) CAPTURE THE FLAG: 300 BIT Poor, poor Elecmon. The baby Digimon in Primary Village all want to play Capture the Flag, but one Digimon is not enough to play with. Please come keep the babies busy, and Elecmon will pay you for your troubles. Hurry! They're getting restless!
3) I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE TRAILMON: 300 BIT Though they live in what's called a "graveyard", the Trailmon who live there are still Digimon and need love too. Give them a bath. Sing them a song. Treat them nicely, and they might give you a reward for keeping them company.
4) Laffy Taffy: 500 BIT A new candy shop is about to open, but there is just one problem. THERE ARE NO TAFFY PULLERS TO MAKE THE TAFFY FOR THE GRAND OPENING! And everyone knows that taffy is the best candy of all. Chosen and their partners get paid a mighty fine fee for aiding in the pulling of the taffy. Watch out that you don't get stuck!
5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort.

And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect.
(NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game).

[on the fritz + i've been working on the trailmon COMBO]

[Juri's already had to get used to Leomon being Leormon usually, but she never dreamed she'd see him this size. A tiny Frimon sits in her arms.]

Juri, I don't like being carried.

[Too bad, Frimon, because Juri just giggles; his voice is so cute! She hugs him extra tight and he sighs.] I'm not gonna let you bounce around, Leomon! Not when I've got two arms to carry you, silly.

[...His hanging tail waves once and a groan escapes his tiny mouth.

She's brushing down the inside of a Trailmon, Frimon in one arm and a broom in the other, just at the entrance. Though a lot of the other Chosen have been washing them, she thinks that a nice sweep would do them great! Frimon's tried to tell her that she'd probably get more done with him not in her arms, but alas, Juri has succumbed to the adorable little lion head.

Of course, this wouldn't be as much of a problem, just a mild annoyance, if he didn't straiten up and...]

Juri, let go!

Huh? What's-- ahhhh!!! [She ABRUPTLY DROPS HER PARTNER because he's growing in size, and she falls back into a seat as behold, Leomon is there again! ...And. Stuck in the Trailmon entrance. Whoops. The broom's broken and Leomon is...wedged in the door, rather small for a Trailmon.

Instantly, it looks like he's thinking of protesting this, as Juri blinks, half-laying in the seat and staring at her partner.]

...Uh oh.

[Chika just stared as she watched all of this happening, Puwamon cooing happily in her arms.

After a few moments, she sighed.]

You know, I really hope they fix this soon. This is getting ridiculous. I mean, I love baby digimon and all, but I didn't want Biyomon to be one again.

[She looks over at the other girl, shaking her head.]

Umm... do you think we'll be able to push him out of there?

... Oy! Why is there a lion blocking the door?!

[cue one irritated looking banchou, and the Koromon that's sitting on his head]

Yo, big lion guy! Clear the way before I use my fist to make you do it!
missingthebigone: (NOT GOOD NOT GOOD)

[After a few days here, Will's carefully tucked away the part of him that's screaming for sanity. Questioning things has just been making his headaches worse, and they're pretty bad to begin with. His talking dog has been fretting about the potential damage of the amount of advil he's been taking, and that's enough to encourage him to shut everything out and just do what needs to be done.]

[Like earn money to get him into an apartment without roommates ASAP.]

[But quietly scrubbing the side of a train he's very pointedly pretending isn't sentient doesn't last for too long before a giant lion man suddenly appears in the doorway three feet to his right. He doesn't even have the presence of mind to grab for his gun. He just. Stares.]
