TEST DRIVE MEME
Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR.

For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice!

That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go:

MINI-EVENTS
1) RACERS START YOUR ENGINES!: Leftover personalized carts? And the promise of free food as a prize? Well, you don’t mind if you do! Looks like there’s a mini race track, wanna go for a drive? Or maybe you’ve never driven before and want to use it to test out your skills! ...Or see if you have any. Look, just be careful with that banana peel, it’s a dangerous weapon.
2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme!
3) ROCK PAPER SCISSORS--DUCK!: Sometimes the most juvenile of games becomes the most perfect way to relax. Why not enjoy a few rounds of everyone's favorite game "Rock Paper Scissors"? Just be careful. It seems a fewDracmon have decided to take this game quite literally and won't stop until you have beaten them at their own game. Just...beware of falling rocks, flying paper cranes, and sniping scissors...

MISSIONS
1) BABYSITTER ANYONE?: 300 BIT Petermon’s a jerk. He’s used his abilities to brainwash some baby Digimon into causing havoc around the city! Stop them from wrecking everything, again, but don’t hurt them too bad!
2) MON-DO EXPLORATION: 500 BIT A new continent is open! Server is vast and here is no map, so Chosen should get to exploring that! Watch out for weird pyramids, wild Digimon, bizarre invisible cities, and random out of place landmarks. And whatever you do, don’t get lost in the desert, okay?
3) I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE TRAILMON: 300 BIT Though they live in what's called a "graveyard", the Trailmon who live there are still Digimon and need love too. Give them a bath. Sing them a song. Treat them nicely, and they might give you a reward for keeping them company.
4) Laffy Taffy: 500 BIT A new candy shop is about to open, but there is just one problem. THERE ARE NO TAFFY PULLERS TO MAKE THE TAFFY FOR THE GRAND OPENING! And everyone knows that taffy is the best candy of all. Chosen and their partners get paid a mighty fine fee for aiding in the pulling of the taffy. Watch out that you don't get stuck!
5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort.

And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect.
(NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game).

[Of the Chosen coming today, this guy is probably taking it the worst. The moment the tiny not-monster realized that he was a human child he started panicking and hid in a corner. Not bothering to wonder where this is or how he became human.

About a foot or two away from him was a rather annoyed looking PetitMamon.]

Kid, you can't expect to stay here forever. It's getting really awkward just sitting here and watching you cry.

[She tries to move closer, but Mike tries to move further into the corner.]

Please stay away from me! I don't wanna hurt you!

[And that makes her stop in confusion.]

Wait a minute, you think you're gonna hurt me? I don't think you need to worry about that!

[He doesn't seem to even react to that statement, he just huddles into a ball, trying to convince himself that this was just some horrible nightmare. PetitMamon groans and sits down, resting her chin in her hand. This better not take too long.]

[Impmon's first thought is ugh that is the most try-hard digimon he's ever seen--oh wait, make that his first sentence upon seeing the two. Leatherhead shoots the digimon a dagger glare.

That aside, the big guy has a hard time knowing just what to do. The big guy just stands there, fiddling his fingers.

But in a way, he can really tell what the kid's going through...he thinks. He understands how it feels to be a monster, to be afraid of hurting others. Maybe he should say something...

He opens his mouth, trying to appear his most nonthreatening...hard to do with the bandages round his arms and feet and hunched posture.]

It's alright.

[Mike doesn't even look up at Leatherhead, but he does shake his head a little.]

No it's not...

Good luck getting to him, buddy. He's been like this ever since he got here.

[Leatherhead shakes his nogging, sitting across from him.]

I understand...not wanting to hurt others...

I don't know if you understand this...

[Well technically Leatherhead most likely wouldn't know, but Mike doesn't know that.]

You could try helping me understand.

[Impmon makes faces at the kid while Leatherhead speaks.]

... I'm human.

[He says this as if he was holding back tears.]

[Ohhh oh...yeah, he understands that, Mike.]

I felt the same way when I came here.

But it gets easier.

But... I can't go home now.

...You wanna leave already?

Neither can I. But maybe I can help you find home.

I can't go home! Not like this...

[At this point PetitMamon was spending her time trying to count the tiles. It was more entertaining than this.]

Maybe if we leave, we change back.

[Doing the rounds of the terminal building was Shepard's response to the new influx of chosen, and she's abruptly very glad of that choice when she stumbles upon the smallest child she's ever seen here. Monodramon is happily trailing after his partner, always delighted to be invited on anything with such military-like words as 'patrol' or 'monitor'.]

[Shepard walks over before dropping into a crouch, smiling gently.]

Hey there. Do you need help?

[Monodramon stands at attention next to her.]

We're soldiers! You can trust us!

[He looks up and flinches when he realizes that it's a human, but he decides that remaining silent probably won't help matters.]

I-I don't think you can help me...

[Beastboy could never resist the sound of a child in need, and so he scurries over dragging his Psychemon partner behind him]

Hey! Hey dude what's wrong? You hurt?

Beastboy slow down! We don't want to scare him!

[Mike looks up to say something, but stops when he notices Beastboy's skin. He was pretty sure that it wasn't normal for humans to have green skin.]

... Were you a monster too?

[Please don't take that as an insult, Beastboy. This is coming from a kid who's a cyclops.]

[He laughs and wiggles his pointy ears]

Well not usually, I've turned into a monster before. The easiest way to explain it is I'm a mutant. Do they have mutants where you come from?

[Offers him a gloved hand to shake]

The name's Beastboy.

No, we just have monsters where I'm from

[Mike tentatively takes Beastboy's hand.]

I'm... I'm Mike Wazowski

Nice to meetcha Mike!

[a solid friendly handshake]

This is my Monster friend Rita.

[Rita steps forward smiling sweetly]

Hello Mike, it's nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you too!

[He almost reaches to shake Rita's hand, but quickly recoils so that he doesn't touch her]

[she blinks confused but Beastboy just laughs]

It's ok little dude! She won't hurt you. She's one of the nicest girls I know!

I know, I don't wanna hurt her...

[The two start laughing with good nature]

Oh dude, you couldn't hurt her if you tried.

That's right, humans are totally harmless to Digimon unless you have like...fire or something.

But... but human children are toxic to monsters!

How long is it gonna take to convince you, kid?

Um...well...not really?

The rules are a little different here kiddo. Digital Monsters like these are specially designed to work with humans. See?
