It was a dark and stormy night. Cliche, but sometimes they happened. Kurama was old enough that he'd seen it all before, weather-wise. He was a little more disconcerted by the change in his clothes. It wasn't that they didn't, ahem, 'suit' him, but the three-piece and fedora had replaced his usual clothes out of nowhere. It seemed harmless enough, so he just opened his umbrella and stepped out onto the street.

His partner was a cute little thing, and Kurama smiled slightly as she ignored the umbrella and danced in the rain instead. He had a feeling his adorable little Lalamon would grow up into a real femme fatale someday. The kind of girl nobody could ignore. He shook his head as his thoughts kept wandering, turning his attention back to his destination.

"Should we take the long way, Lalamon?"

"Yes!" came the enthusiastic response from the little plant Digimon.
