Gift Giving Meme

With all the holidays upcoming and all the gift exchanging, it's hard to keep track of what your characters are getting for each other or receiving! This is to make it easier.

Post up your lists of what you're giving other people here, if your characters are engaging in gift exchange. You can use this to talk it out too, if you desire!

Digimon: Both get a ninja bandanna (Light Green for Arte, Turquoise for Paolo)

(That's all I have planned, if anyone who has CR with Donnie would like something please tell me what you would like and I'll make it happen)

Character: Twilight Sparkle
Gifts Being Exchanged: She is giving all her pony friends friendship bracelets made with beads and in the middle will be a bead that looks liek their Cutie Mark. She will also give one to Trixie, as a sign that she is willing to be her friend.

Neither of my characters will ask for anything, so iuf you want to give them anything your on your own with figuring it out. Sorry, blame the muses.

Fluttershy is knitting a lot of the gifts she's giving to people. At the moment, the set plans for certain gifts are as follows:

- Special sweater(vests) for the Kratt Bros
- A strawberry pillow for Miwako
- Scarves for Ed and his Digimon
- A hat for Mikey (to match the scarf she gave him)
- Special sweaters with wing features for Twilight and Rainbow Dash
- A blueberry pillow for Tony Stark, and a cupcake pillow for his Dorumon
- A special ninja mask for Donnie
- A special sweatshirt for Kaldur
- An artist's smock for Jinx
- A music note pillow for Perry
- A tie and scarf for Shere Khan

Anything else so far is a default to sweaters, scarves, hats, mittens, pillows, etc for everyone else. So specific gift ideas for specific characters would be much appreciated!

As for her...She honestly cannot think of anything she wants people to give her, so uh...Have fun with that XD;

Guys, I apologize in advance for the sheer levels of derp.

Wheeljack - A BIG JAR OF PEANUT BUTTER. He must experience it and embrace it.

Takato - a tacky sweater that's red, yellow, and blue wrapped around a piece of Guilmon bread.

Ruki - A bright pink sweater covered in hearts and smiley faces wrapped around some tasty croissants filled with jelly. He saw it and thought it looked happy! Good for the holidays, right?
Renamon - A matching scarf wrapped around a bottle of orange soda and another croissant.

Ed - Guilmon bread wrapped in a purple and neon green sweater with polka dots.
Ed's Guilmon - a peanut butter burger with Guilmon bread buns wrapped in a orange and pink striped sweater. It may be a bit sticky.

Hiccup and co. - Some bread wrapped in a sweater decorated with dancing snowmen. There's a lot of bread inside... some with sticky frosting. Oops!

Miwako - one of his drawings and a pink and green sweater wrapped around, you guessed it, bread.

Juri - a sweater decorated with kitties and bunnies wrapped around some tasty rolls.
Leomon - A sweater with a great big lion's face on the front that's bright green and wrapped around a huuuge piece of sourdough bread.

Chika - A sweater with lots of birds on it wrapped around some muffins.
Biyomon - MANLY BOXING GLOVES for punching rocks! There are rocks inside of one and bread in side of the other.

Leatherhead - Red and green zigzaggy sweater wrapped around cinnamon rolls.
Duke and Monodramon - Matching scarf and mittens along with some Guilmon bread.

Mikasa - a red sweater with prancing reindeer wrapped around some Guilmon bread. There's actually quite a lot so she can share with her partners.

Sora and crew - This sweater wrapped around some bread for him and his Digimon.

Dukemon - a really, really big sweater that matches his black and pink diamond one... wrapped around a whole box of Guilmon bread because he must have missed eating it!

BlackWarGreymon - a big, yellow sweater with angels on the front wrapped around some chocolate doughnuts.

Kaldur - This sweater stuffed with a variety of breads and a cute little winter hat for Sedna.

Michaelangelo - A bright orange sweater wrapped around some garlic bread!

Rarity - A pink, purple, and blue striped sweater stuffed with banana bread.

Harry - A yellow, green, and black sweater wrapped around some pumpkin bread.

...I will probably add to this when I'm not so tired. He's basically been told that you can put things in sweaters and if you're supposed to wrap gifts, they should be wrapped in something toasty!

Takato's not going to be able to think of what he wants due to recent events, but he'll appreciate whatever he's given.

Ruki: A light brown overcoat
Juri: A Guilmon plushie
Guilmon: An extra-large loaf of Guilmon bread with peanut butter and jelly inside
Renamon: An energy drink along with a set of mittens
Leomon: Also an energy drink with a set of mittens
Chika: A Guilmon plushie
Biyomon: A loaf of Biyomon bread
Rarity: A hat to match her hair
Harry: A scarf with matching hat

Character: Rainbow Dash
Gifts Being Exchanged:

Rainbow might toss some ideas about what she wants but they'll undoubtedly involve flying in the long run! (Which include a set of goggles)

Twilight Sparkle: A ring with a purple gemstone that shines in the light with what looks like her Cutie Mark surrounding the gem. And a set of goggles for flight
Fluttershy: A Lopmon plushie, along with set of goggles for flight
Rarity: A sweater totally picked for her by Wheeljack! (But she'll also get a ruby to match her hair)
Digimon: While Twilight, Fluttershy and Rarity's Digimon all get hats, and Trixie's Digimon gets a cape to match hers, Rainbow's getting her partner a set of goggles for those special flight training routines
Trixie: A wand that glows in the dark
Kit: A light blue scarf and a pair of goggles

That's all I can think of, so anyone else who's had CR with either Takato or Rainbow Dash -ideas would be appreciated! ^^

NEKU: Sweater. It looks exactly like that, because Lalamon is crap at picking yarn. There's also a cowl, in green and blue. She's banking on Neku not realizing what it means. His present comes with a note: Don't you dare wear these together. I will know. (The know is underlined four times.)

TERRI: Basket of hairbows. There's roughly fifty of them, and they're all in Terri colors.

SQUALL: She made him a scarf (grey), but she was too chicken to give it to him. So she gave it to Neku to give to Squall.

MASARU: Shiki leaves a sweater outside his room. It's primarily red, unlike that picture.

DUO: Shiki went slightly overboard because she was worried he would freeze and die. Duo gets a sweater (black) and gloves (black), along with a cowl (white, with buttons like this).

SOLARMON: Scarf! There is a button that matches the ones on Duo's scarf stitched on.

PEOPLE WHO WORKED AT BURGERMON'S (+CAM): Shiki will track down anyone who worked at Burgermon's (+Cam) from August to November and give them a cowl. It will be in a color that character wears frequently. Cam's comes with a note: Sorry I missed your birthday!

Every item Shiki makes (aside from Terri's bows) has a patch bearing two embroidered Dogwood flowers stitched onto the backside somewhere. They're not cherry blossoms, and Shiki will say that if you mention the patch.

(Shiki won't ask for anything. She'll literally say "you don't have to do that" if you ask her flat-out.)

CAM (Maya): Cam will recieve the demo of Jersey Boy on his D-Terminal. It sounds very little like the version performed at his party. Because that felt like cheating, though, she found a really dumb sweater.

LUCETTE/SALAMON (Maya): Maya makes Lucette chocolate chip cookies and Salamon gets peanut butter ones.

CAM (Hyokomon): Hyokomon got Cam a wooden training sword. It's not even wrapped, she just hands it to him and is like "I WILL TRAIN YOU IF YOU WISH."

LUCETTE/SALAMON (Hyokomon): Lucette gets ~~NOTHING~~ a smaller wooden training sword. Salamon gets whatever his favorite food is.

DANTE (Maya): She found this bowl and got it because you can put ice cream in the ice cream! It's funny to her okay. There's a pack of guitar strings in the bowl.

DANTE (Hyokomon): Ice cream. Dante has to have ice cream to put in the bowl, right?

ROZE (Maya): Something about this sweater screamed ROZE to Maya. So she got it. Even though she mostly knows Roze as "that girl Dante is dating."

RIN/JINX (Maya): To thank them for being the people who helped her out the most when she was freaking out, Maya made Rin and Jinx both a basket of cookies. Like, fifty cookies.

MAYA'S MAKESHIFT BAND (Maya): She super appreciates your help and even though she gave every member of the band bit and cookies (except Dante, who just got ice cream) after they performed, she got you all Christmas present too! Or rather, she made all of you snowflake ornaments. Some of them are slightly bent. Maya is not a very crafty person.

Mimi, having discovered that flower crowns rot, has made paper flower crowns for everyone she's ever talked to. Like seriously, everyone. Any crown Mimi gives will be accompanied by a small cloth bag containing seven dark chocolate squares, which Mimi will tell you are from Ryan.

There are two exceptions.

ED
Ryan will give Ed this sweater. It looks handmade because it is, and he will make up a very elaborate story about how the moose on the sweater is a Christmas moose and it's supposed to grant wishes if you wear the Christmas moose sweater and the Christmas moose crown and believe in the Christmas moose hard enough. Mimi will back him up. Leormon will say they're liars.

Mimi will give Ed a moose hat (there's bells sewn on the antlers) and tell him it's the Christmas moose crown and if he doesn't wear it his wish won't come true!!!!!!! They won't ask what his wish is, but Ed will find a package addressed to him outside his door the day after Christmas. It will contain (1) new cloak that looks suspiciously like his, (1) pair of jeans, and (1) plain, pale yellow t-shirt. If asked about the package, Ryan will tell Ed that the Christmas moose sometimes gives people new outfits when their wish will take a while to come true.

KAGEROU
Ryan sort of stole a very large map from the elementary school (it's labeled in Japanese), rolled it up and tied a bow around it. There's a gold star sticker marking New Mexico, but no indication why.

...I just want you to know that Ed's wish would be 'For everything to be fixed and everyone to go home happily.'

So thank you Christmas Moose for confirming that we are going to be stuck here for quite a while.

If anyone actually makes Whirl get gifts for people?

Everyone he knows is getting booze.

Except Sophia, she gets candy.

Srsly though, anybody who asks for some in Kit's post on the subject will be getting a small loaf of fruit bread. And a few other who didn't ask will also be getting some because Kit happened upon them and thought they could use something to cheer them up.

And Kit isn't really expecting to get presents, but would probably be happy with most anything.

Mikey--A giant-ass pizza with pepperoni in the shape of a heart and a flower crown (not as fine as Mabel's, but...)
Donnie--A smaller, apologetic pizza
Wheeljack--A shield made of a stop sign and scrap metal with the word FAMILY written in runes and two cheeseburgers
Arcee--Two knives (to match Wheeljack)
Kagerou--Chocolate bars and a blanket!
Hiccup--A notebook with the word FRIEND written in runes
Gulimon--Another pizza, with the pepperonis arranged to spell FRIEND in runes, as well
Fluttershy--A flower crown for her, as well

Whirl only felt pity once, and he doesn't give pity gifts.

So, Duo doesn't know a whole heck of a lot of people, but that's just because he's a butt. Still, there are a few people getting a thing or two:

Shiki: A smiley face necklace with a small note that says "Be Happy" in what is obviously a child's writing. It will be left outside her door without any other indication who it's from.

Fluttershy: A child's nativity set. It's just going to be sitting outside her apartment and all it will have attached to it is a tag with her name.

Chika: A stuffed bird toy with a note around it's neck: It's pink like your parrot. Like all the others, it's left outside her apartment.

Tatara: (Hisame's Hagurumon) A scarf. It's hanging on the doorknob of the apartment with its name on a tag.

Wily-Kit: A ball of yarn and a small bell? And some packets of cocoa. HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO GET A CAT FOR CHRISTMAS! It'll be in a gift bag, at least, with her name on it outside her apartment door.

Martin: A book on how to dance. There's no note or anything. Just a book outside his door.

For gifts Mikey is going to try to get/make gifts for everyone he can

Donnie: two hand made turtle dolls with little magnets in their hands so that they 'hold hands', one dressed in purple, one dressed in orange.

Leatherhead: A large heart shaped pillow with Mikey & Leatherhead sewn into it. Also a pot of Pizza Noodle soup, hand made and specifically for Leatherhead.

Fluttershy: A soft pink blanket with turtles at the corners. ~~because he doesn't know what other animals she might like.~~

Miwako: A cute light pink and light blue hat with a cute cherry shaped pin in it.

Beastboy: Some comics about ninjas, and a basic 'learning to read Japanese' book.

Guilmon: Homemade Pizza bread 8D

Hiccup: A fluffy scarf of some soft brown material.

Kovu: A stuffed animal lion cub, incidentally in Kiara like colors.

Saori: Origami flowers. He doesn't know exactly what to make for her, but since shows say girls like flowers he went with that.

Minato: A door sign with his name written on it and some nice space filler design

Perry: A hat stand, to put in his room for his hat for when he goes to bed. Has room for 4 hats

Nala on the other hand will be only selecting presents for a select few people

Kovu: A wind chime, that has plains animals on it.

Squall: A blanket that is white and grey, with a soft swirling design.

Rowan: A set of nice drinking cups, that have star bursts on the bottoms.

Beastboy: A blanket that is green and brown with black, all swirled together.

Note: Neither have done gifting on a serious scale, and Nala never before at all, so they are both a bit clueless, but trying.

Dante & Vergil - Matching men's Victorian signet rings for the little finger with demons etched on the sides and inscriptions reading "Some bonds will never be broken..." with Vergil's name in Dante's ring and Dante's name in Vergil's ring.

Rider - A matching tiara and scepter with the book "Sex with Kings: 500 Years of Adultery, Power, Rivalry, and Revenge"

Waver - Sorcerer's Apprentice-style red robe and wizard hat and a fine china English tea set.

Seifer - A copy of "Songs of Love and Death: All-Original Tales of Star-Crossed Love" and a bracelet with an inscription inside that reads "Not all knights are White - but they are knights..."

Laguna - A copy of the book "Absent Fathers, Lost Sons: The Search for Masculine Identity" and three hideous Hawaiian shirts.

Yeaaaaaah, unless someone forces him to giving gifts, nobody's getting anything from the Medicine Seller ~~because he's still friendless~~.

...In the event someone did decide to badger him into gift giving though, he'd probably give something unusual, given that he was carrying around some turtles in his medicine chest at one point.

Martin's actually very artistic and crafty. And Chris has really nice hand-writing, especially at small sizes. ...They're both also creature nuts so their friends are going to be getting rather interesting personalized and educational gifts.

Fluttershy - a hand-drawn rendering of Choco's Rookie and Champion forms, along with renderings of rabbits and hares from Earth for comparison. Notes and facts about both accompany the drawings.

Hiccup - a hand-drawn rendering of Fearless's Rookie form, alongside a number of drawings of different seal species. Cool facts about seals accompany the drawings.

Campbell - a hand-drawn rendering of Salamon, along with drawings of other canine family members (apparently Salamon reminds him of a dog). There's a fox, a wolf, an African wild dog, and a labrador retriever for comparison, along with interesting facts about each of these written next to them.

Maya - a hand-drawn rendering of Hyokomon's Rookie and Champion form (Aquilamon). There's a drawing of a bald eagle, as well as a golden eagle, a Harpy eagle, a Martial eagle, a Wedge-Tailed eagle, a Steppe eagle- the page is literally full of eagle drawings what the heck? There's even more drawn on the back. There's hardly enough space for the cramped facts and notes about eagles written in-between the drawings (and somehow the writing seems irritated about this...huh).

Hisame - a hand-drawn rendering of Goblinmon and one of Hagurumon. Nifty little "Did you knows?" about goblins from various Earth folklore are scattered around the drawings.

Juri - a hand-drawn rendering of Leomon, along with drawings of African lion from Earth, both male and female. Facts about lions accompany the drawings.

Mikey - a hand-drawn rendering of his Leormon, along with drawings of the lesser known Asiatic lions from Earth, both male and female. Facts about these lions accompany the drawings.

Donnie - ~~Yes, Donnie gets a gift~~ A hand-drawn rendering of Monmon, along with drawings of a couple of Old and New World monkey species. Some facts about these creatures are written alongside the drawings.

Rainbow Dash - a hand-drawn rendering of her Falcomon, along with several drawing of falcons from Earth, the Peregrine falcon in particular. There's notes and facts about the peregrine falcon, a decent amount of which seem to be written in a different hand from the neater more concise notes.

Twilight Sparkle - a hand-drawn rendering of Kudamon, along with a drawing of a black-footed ferret and a pine marten. There's little factiods and notes about the creatures sprinkled around the page. ...Curiously, next to the drawing of the marten (and in ink that looks exactly like the color the notes are written in) is a not-as-nice looking drawing of Martin. ...And next to that drawing of Martin is a better drawing of Martin looking unamused with a scrawly speech bubble that says, "Don't draw on my drawings, Bro." ~~They're idiots, Twilight, please forgive them.~~

Martin has also done an additional drawing of a Lopmon; Chris's Lopmon, Sylvia. This is a gift for Chris but not his sole gift. More of an extra surprise.

The Kratts have also given gifts to their Digimon partners. Each partner receives a ~~Pokemon Mystery Dungeon~~ scarf in their respective brother's color (blue for Martin's Digimon and green for Chris's).

A couple of their digimon have also sent out gifts. All the members of the Lopmon club will receive a batch of little chocolates (that look suspiciously like they're in the shape of Terriermon).

Trixie is a decidedly selfish pony, so you humans don't expect much from her.

To Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Rarity: Trixie is giving you marionette puppets of yourselves wearing costumes from her Hearth's Warming Eve performance. They are hand carved and surprisingly well made.

To Campbell: A card that says "Human's are beautiful in their own special way. Don't be afraid of yourself. Best Wishes, The Great and Powerful Trixie" as well as an autographed picture of herself in a nice frame.

To Shiki, Roze, Duo, Ed, Wheeljack, Dante, Harry and Chris: An autographed and framed picture of herself.

Oooo! My girls love their gifts! Expect lovely things in return!
