What noooo, that's not stupid. It just gives you way more emotional stuff to work with. (Personally, I love apping my KH kids into games during traumatic canon points lol)

And yes! I love a good friendship sneaking up on characters. Even if it doesn't happen right away though? It'll probably end up meaning more to the characters with a longer build up. So win-win either way~
