TEST DRIVE MEME Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR. For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice! That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go: MINI-EVENTS 1) ON THE FRITZ!: Data gets scrambled from time-to-time and, unfortunately for you, so does your Digimon! The Digital World is having difficulty dealing with some of the Data, so all the Digimon are randomly changing back and forth from their digivolutions. Hope you have room for a giant dinosaur in your rooms! OH, DON'T STEP ON THE BOTAMON! 2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme! 3) ROCK PAPER SCISSORS--DUCK!: Sometimes the most juvenile of games becomes the most perfect way to relax. Why not enjoy a few rounds of everyone's favorite game "Rock Paper Scissors"? Just be careful. It seems a fewDracmon have decided to take this game quite literally and won't stop until you have beaten them at their own game. Just...beware of falling rocks, flying paper cranes, and sniping scissors... MISSIONS 1) CALL THE EXTERMINATORS: 500 BIT Despite the battle that took place some time ago, it seems that a few Beemon made it out alive and are ready to terrorize the city once more. They aren't so great in numbers or strength, but they're still annoying nonetheless. Keep the city from falling apart, and receive a reward! 2) CAPTURE THE FLAG: 300 BIT Poor, poor Elecmon. The baby Digimon in Primary Village all want to play Capture the Flag, but one Digimon is not enough to play with. Please come keep the babies busy, and Elecmon will pay you for your troubles. Hurry! They're getting restless! 3) I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE TRAILMON: 300 BIT Though they live in what's called a "graveyard", the Trailmon who live there are still Digimon and need love too. Give them a bath. Sing them a song. Treat them nicely, and they might give you a reward for keeping them company. 4) Laffy Taffy: 500 BIT A new candy shop is about to open, but there is just one problem. THERE ARE NO TAFFY PULLERS TO MAKE THE TAFFY FOR THE GRAND OPENING! And everyone knows that taffy is the best candy of all. Chosen and their partners get paid a mighty fine fee for aiding in the pulling of the taffy. Watch out that you don't get stuck! 5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort. And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect. (NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game).

Mission 3: I've Been Working on the Trailmon

[For the past few hours, Twilight had been hard at work washing the Trailmon. She had been in this strange world for around a day or two, and she was just getting over her new appearance. It still felt weird, but she was adjusting well.

Plus she had become rather fond of her new partner rather quickly.]

See Veemon? It's really easy to do. Do you want to try it?

Hmm... I guess. [He grabbed a cloth before looking at purple-eyed girl again.] Your sure that they're not gonna bite?

Don't worry, as long as your calm they'll be calm and happy. There's nothing to be worried about.

Well... Okay!

[Rarity has climbed onto the top of the second Trailmon she's tended to within these hours, Wormmon taking a break sitting close to the big Digi-vehicle's head and giving her an unamused glance, which Rarity returns with a faintly wounded-looking one.]

Good sir, surely you want me to be thorough!

You've been plenty thorough. Now, I think you're wearing at my back...

Oh, dear - you're right! I've been focusing far too much here! Perhaps I've missed a spot further down, shall we see now - Wormmon - sweetheart? Would you be a dear and do a little spot-check down this gentleman's back while I give his right side another once-over?

[The Wormmon rolls her eyes - with bemusement - and gets back into motion.]

This would all be far easier if we'd been allowed to keep our magic!

[Twilight gave a small eye-roll, but she couldn;t disagree with Rarity's last statement.

Not to mention that without her magic, Twilight wasn't exactly feeling confident. But she had to be calm, she didn't want to go crazy with stress like she did before...]

I know Rarity, but we really don't have much of a choice, Besides, it's not that bad. These Trailmon seem to enjoy what we're doing, at last.

Well - that may be, but you know that I'd dare not do anything but my finest, as do I know, Twilight, that neither would you!

These dear old - "mons" - deserve thorough care!

[The Trailmon sighs, while Rarity crawls further along down his back to scrub at one last spot.]

There we are! That'll do for the back, if it must! [With a "Hm~!" she slides down the Trailmon's side to join her partner.] Wormmon, my dear, how are we aaaahck!

[She grabs her skirt in bunches and yanks it out in front of her with a look to burn off the water- and soap-smeared thick near-black smudges of dirt and metal grease down the frilly and should-be perfectly white fabric.

And she huffs, and her voice goes into a tense singsong.] We~ell! I suppose I should have known better!

[Twilight sighed as she listened to her friend. This really wasn't something that Rarity would do unless she had her magic.]

Man, does she always act like this?

Well... Not always... She just hates getting dirty. Don't worry, she'll be fine. [She hoped]

[Twilight got up, seeing that her own clothes were dirty. She sighed.]

I guess we'll have to go get washed up soon...

There is a spa in town, isn't there? [Instantly brighter.] Surely our compensation for getting this little job done will at least pay for a well-deserved soak.

I say that you and I, Twilight, go for exactly that once we're finished here! It'll be lovely!

Or, rather, the four of us.

Don't wait up for me - all I'm looking forward to is a nice delicious lunch.

Well, we can hardly eat out covered in sweat and filth.

Well... Okay, I guess we deserve at least that much. I think we're pretty close to being done, so we can go in just a bit.

[Twilight didn't go to spa's very often, often burying herself in her studies. But considering how messy she was right now, and since she couldn't study without any books to study from, a spa trip sounded nice right now.]

Then we can get lunch? Right?

Of course we can, we just need to get cleaned up first. Boy, you Digimon love food, don't you?

[Wormmon says it with dry humor, while Rarity scrubs the Trailmon's side.]

Fabulous, then! We'll get ourselves bathed, put on some nice clean clothes, and all go out for lunch! Wormmon and Veemon, I'm sure you two dears could recommend a place... Oh! Do you think that we could get our... [She twiddles the fingers of one hand.] ...nails done? We'll make it our first day getting pampered as "huemins!"

Don't take too long. Your partners need to eat.

Well... [Twilight wasn't sure if she wanted her nails done, she had never been a pony... err, girl who cared much for that. But she supposed that as long as she could still flip through books...]

I guess it wouldn't hurt if we did. I know that you would love to have them done.

O~or... we'll simply get washed up, slip into something fresh, and go out for a girls' lunch.

Once we get ourselves established here, however, we simply must get a full-on spa treatment. All my treat! I'll look into the expense and save up the bits!

What say you? [She crosses her arms behind her back, looks from her partner to Twilight's, and flashes him a smile. She likes him; he's a sweetheart, reminds her a bit of Spike.] Where would you recommend that we get a bite to eat in the city?

Yeah! There's one place not far form here that's really nice, and really affordable!

Alright, that sounds perfect! I think we've done a good job with these Trailmon, so how about we go get cleaned up and get going?
