TEST DRIVE MEME Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR. For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice! That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go: MINI-EVENTS 1) ON THE FRITZ!: Data gets scrambled from time-to-time and, unfortunately for you, so does your Digimon! The Digital World is having difficulty dealing with some of the Data, so all the Digimon are randomly changing back and forth from their digivolutions. Hope you have room for a giant dinosaur in your rooms! OH, DON'T STEP ON THE BOTAMON! 2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme! 3) ROCK PAPER SCISSORS--DUCK!: Sometimes the most juvenile of games becomes the most perfect way to relax. Why not enjoy a few rounds of everyone's favorite game "Rock Paper Scissors"? Just be careful. It seems a fewDracmon have decided to take this game quite literally and won't stop until you have beaten them at their own game. Just...beware of falling rocks, flying paper cranes, and sniping scissors... MISSIONS 1) CALL THE EXTERMINATORS: 500 BIT Despite the battle that took place some time ago, it seems that a few Beemon made it out alive and are ready to terrorize the city once more. They aren't so great in numbers or strength, but they're still annoying nonetheless. Keep the city from falling apart, and receive a reward! 2) CAPTURE THE FLAG: 300 BIT Poor, poor Elecmon. The baby Digimon in Primary Village all want to play Capture the Flag, but one Digimon is not enough to play with. Please come keep the babies busy, and Elecmon will pay you for your troubles. Hurry! They're getting restless! 3) I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE TRAILMON: 300 BIT Though they live in what's called a "graveyard", the Trailmon who live there are still Digimon and need love too. Give them a bath. Sing them a song. Treat them nicely, and they might give you a reward for keeping them company. 4) Laffy Taffy: 500 BIT A new candy shop is about to open, but there is just one problem. THERE ARE NO TAFFY PULLERS TO MAKE THE TAFFY FOR THE GRAND OPENING! And everyone knows that taffy is the best candy of all. Chosen and their partners get paid a mighty fine fee for aiding in the pulling of the taffy. Watch out that you don't get stuck! 5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort. And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect. (NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game).

[Blinking, Mikey takes the purple mask from Gabumon and holds it up so he can see it a bit better next to his own, before finally looking over to Donnie with a loud gasp.]

...Donnie?! No WAY, you're here too?

[A wave of emotions hit Donnie int hat instant. He had calculated that he'd been in this world for around two months. He hadn't seen hios brothers, his family in two months. Homesickness had been painful at first, but he learned to cope with it. He made friends, and it all died down.

Now it was back with a vengance.]

Y-yeah... I've been here for two months. I... I can't beleiv eit's really you! [Suddenly hugs Mikey.]

He missed you a lot man, he had a bad case of homesickness for like... an eternity.

Oof-!

[The hug is a bit surprising, coming from Donnie, and since to Mikey it's only felt like he's been gone for a week, the feeling isn't as strong...but he can tell that his brother has missed him. A lot. He doesn't hesitate to hug him back with a smile.]

It's really me! Man that's good, now you can tell me all about this place! Well....more than what Gabumon's told me anyways.

[Yep, this was Mikey alright. As optimistic as always.]

Great, you found your brother... err, one of them! That means your not mad that I took and lost your mask, right?

Say what? [Lets Mikey go to glare at Kamemon] You lost my mask?! That was the only one I had!

[Nervous laugh] Ugh... You don't wanna ruin the brotherly moment now do you? [Donnie keeps glaring] Rats, that didn't work... [Hides behind Mikey] Hey, can you please save me from your brother? Please?!

[booyakashaa]

[But Mikey just laughs, holding up the purple mask that he took from Gabumon a moment ago.]

Don't worry dude, I got it right here! Gee, looks like you got a cool little dude-friend when you ended up here too, huh?

[Sighs with relief as he takes back his mask and ties it back over his broen eyes.]

Yeah, if you wanna call him that...

Heh, your brother seems to be a lot more relaxed than you, huh Donnie?

Zip it. [Sighs] Really, your a horrible mix of Raph and Mike... [And he paused there. If Mikey was here, then were...?]

Mikey... did... did Raph or Leo come with you? Do you know if they're here?

[He asked this with some desperation in his voice. He had been away form his brothers for far to long. Even the slightest chance of all three of his brothers being in this world with him was one that he was willing to hold onto.]

[booyakashaa]

[Mikey exchanges a short look with Gabumon before shaking his head.]

No man, sorry. I've only been here for a few days, and you're the first familiar person I've seen.

Oh... I-I see...

[That was disappointing, but... at least Mikey was here. He supposed that was enough for now.]

So... your Mikey, right? Your the one who's friends with the really scary guy that likes to shake Donnie like a ragdoll, right?

[Donnie is glaring again.]

..You mean Leatherhead? I am, yeah!

[Mikey snickers, looking up at Donnie.]

How much have you told him? ..Everything?

Eh... Most of it. At the very least all of the more important parts.

[He has left out a few details on the encounters with the Foot, but for the most part...]

So you've only been here a few days? Did anything happen back home? [Glare[ You haven;t gone into my lab and touched anything breakable, have you?

Oh, this is gonna be fun to watch. [Sits]

[Mikey's eyes widen a little, and he quickly shakes his head, raising his hands in defense.]

I haven't, I swear! ...It....it didn't really feel like you were ever gone actually, Donnie. One minute I was home with you guys, and the next....I was here.

Ugh... how the heck does that make any sense?

Hmm... Well it's possible that whatever it was that sent us here into the Digital World takes us from a different place in time. So that means that when I got sent here while I was in my lab, the digital world took Mikey form a time period of either before I got sent or form a period where I never got sent at all. That explains why I was never missed in my universe, and why I've been here for two months while Mikey's only been here for a couple of days.

...Say what? [Looks at Mikey] Is the nerd here always this confusing?

[Before Mikey can even have a chance to be confused, Gabumon speaks up quietly.]

Or perhaps....time just doesn't pass the same way in the real world as it does here in the Digital World?...Is that what you mean, Donatello?

Hmm... [He ponders this] Yeah, that's basically what I meant. It is possible that the time in this world may move slower in the Real World, or it could be something different all together. Time always has been a complicated subject.

Agh! Nerd talk! [Covers ears]
Make it stop!

[Mikey frowns, folding his arms after tying his mask back onto his face.]

Well....either way, looks like Raph and Leo aren't around anywhere anyway. ...So is it just you and me?

Well... Yeah, I guess. Well actually... Leatherhead is here too.

Yep! Too bad Donnie's too scare to go near him.

WOAH, he is!? Well dude, we gotta go find him right now!

Oh, ugh... I-I wish we could Mikey. But ugh... Kamemon and I have no idea where he is.

He lives two doors down form us in the same apartment building. I say we go find hoim, I wanna punch Impmon in the face! Or maybe I cna digivolve into Gwappamon and squish him!

And Leatherhead may also grab my face for the sixth time and shake me like a ragdoll!

Yeah, so? Come on, you don't wanna hurt your brother's feelings by not helping him, do you?

[Mikey just laughs. He knows as well as anybody the interesting relationship the two share.]

Well...Gabumon says everyone's human here, so....you think he's gonna do that now?

[Oh, the glare that you are getting now Mikey]

He already HAS MIKEY!!!

Yeah, he did! Donnie was injured and big scary guy grabbed him and I had to Digivolve and save him! Ah man, it was cool!

[Donnie turns his glare to Kamemon. The turtle gulps]

I mean... It was bad. He's lucky to be alive.

[booyakashaa]

....Oh.

[Mikey shrinks back, grimacing when Donnie yells at him.]

I'm sorry Donnie!! If I was there I coulda' helped stop him for you...

[Donnie sighed, quickly calming down.]

It's fine Mikey... I got out fine. Besides it wasn't like it was the first time. It's... really not that big a deal. Dob't worry about it, okay?

Aaaalright Donnie, f'you say so. Either way, I'm just glad that you guys are here. It was gonna be all weird here by myself. ...Well, besides bein' with Gabumon.

Yeah, I can imagine... I'm just glad that I found you before you got yourself into trouble.

[Because dang it, Mikey was a trouble magnet.]
