TEST DRIVE MEME -- DECEMBER
TEST DRIVE MEME Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR. For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice! That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go: 1 POWER PROBLEMS A swarm of Kunemon have invaded from the forest! Having electric attributes in their attacks, they're causing all sorts of power problems around the city. Can they be stopped before electrical fires start up? 2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme! 3) CRAZY WEATHER WE'RE HAVING!: Have you ever heard the expression "raining cats and dogs?" Well, now it's raining Gatomon and Doggymon, and they're understandably pretty unhappy! Or maybe you happen to be on one of the more normal weather days, like a sudden heatwave, or a freak blizzard, or a raging sandstorm! Better watch out for that tornado day, too. You're already not in Kansas anymore, after all! 1) BABYSITTER ANYONE?: 300 BIT Petermon’s a jerk. He’s used his abilities to brainwash some baby Digimon into causing havoc around the city! Stop them from wrecking everything, again, but don’t hurt them too bad! 2) WE CAN REBUILD IT: 500 BIT The poor, poor city. It's in shambles! You've been drafted to help fix it up, in whatever way you can. Planting trees in the park? Fixing holes in the apartment building? Reconstruction of entire shops? Hope you're good with a hammer. 3) I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE TRAILMON: 300 BIT Though they live in what's called a "graveyard", the Trailmon who live there are still Digimon and need love too. Give them a bath. Sing them a song. Treat them nicely, and they might give you a reward for keeping them company. 4 FIRE! 500 BIT The DemiMeramon's are a mischievous bunch, aren't they? Don't think so? Well, we hope that's not your house they're trying to burn down! A bunch of DemiMeramon are loose and setting fire to the outskirts of the city. Stop them before they destroy the whole city, but be careful! They may turn into Meramon, easy enough. 5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort. And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect. (NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game). |

After the initial crash, he stumbles backwards in a daze, landing on his butt.]
Haaaa... maybe Growmon picked up too many Digimon. Now my head's spinning.
[He grabs his head with both of his hands and moans.]
...Sorry for bumping into you, whoever you are.
[He hasn't had the chance to look yet, 'cause everything's so spinny, but it looks kind of like a Dukemon. Maybe.]
no subject
[Waaait a minute, that voice. At long last, Growmon's vision steadies, and he tips his head up only to see Dukemon! Naturally, his eyes fly wide open, and he opens and shuts his mouth, trying to find words.
Okay, this could be a different Dukemon! There are two other Guilmon around, and he met another Sakuyamon, but this one's talking as if he recognizes him...
Uh, just give him a second to climb back to his feet so they'll be on more equal footing in terms of height. Well, maybe, since Growmon is very big!]
Growmon didn't know that there was another Dukemon in the city! Where'd you come from?
no subject
[Ooh, but what does that mean. As he sniffs the air, Growmon notices something... familiar about this Dukemon.]
Does that mean you came from another part of this Digital World? Or maybe you came from a different Digital World like Growmon did. That doesn't happen a lot unless you've got a Tamer, though. I think I'm the only partner Digimon who came here without one.
[...]
Oh, but Takato's here now, so that's okay!
no subject
[He cracks a great big smile at the mention of his Tamer's name. Then it hits him, this Dukemon knows Takato somehow! But how? Why? What does this mean?]
Do you know Takato, too? Growmon didn't see any other Dukemon around here before. Just another Guilmon that evolves into Kyubimon and eats burgers.
no subject
[That's just the kind of digital world they're in, very contrary to the Tamersverse.]
But the other Guilmon's got a scarf and says "geko" a lot, so it's not hard to tell us apart!
no subject
...So, how do you know Takato?
no subject
[But that's weird. Why Takato in particular, if this is a different Dukemon? Of course, everyone should meet Takato, but all the same...]
Well, Growmon's sure Takato would be happy to see you, but I still don't know how you know about him. It'd be weird if a different Dukemon from this place was waiting for him, so unless you were Guilmon, too...
[There are two Rukis, after all, but that can't be, right?]
pretend this icon is Growmon, shhh
At first, Growmon just sort of stares, letting out low grunts and snorts. This is new, a bit surprising, but... aw, maybe that's not so bad.
His ears perk up, and he giggles.]
Ah, but that's great! If you're Dukemon, that means you could really help fight all the bad Digimon like Titamon.
no subject
[So big that Growmon stands up on his tiptoes, stretching his neck, and nearly stumbles a bit.]
And a bad one, too. That bully attacked this city, called all the new Tamers' partners fakes, and caused lots of damage.
