TEST DRIVE MEME
Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR.

For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice!

That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go:

MINI-EVENTS
1 POWER PROBLEMS A swarm of Kunemon have invaded from the forest! Having electric attributes in their attacks, they're causing all sorts of power problems around the city. Can they be stopped before electrical fires start up?
2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme!
3) CRAZY WEATHER WE'RE HAVING!: Have you ever heard the expression "raining cats and dogs?" Well, now it's raining Gatomon and Doggymon, and they're understandably pretty unhappy! Or maybe you happen to be on one of the more normal weather days, like a sudden heatwave, or a freak blizzard, or a raging sandstorm! Better watch out for that tornado day, too. You're already not in Kansas anymore, after all!

MISSIONS
1) BABYSITTER ANYONE?: 300 BIT Petermon’s a jerk. He’s used his abilities to brainwash some baby Digimon into causing havoc around the city! Stop them from wrecking everything, again, but don’t hurt them too bad!
2) WE CAN REBUILD IT: 500 BIT The poor, poor city. It's in shambles! You've been drafted to help fix it up, in whatever way you can. Planting trees in the park? Fixing holes in the apartment building? Reconstruction of entire shops? Hope you're good with a hammer.
3) I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE TRAILMON: 300 BIT Though they live in what's called a "graveyard", the Trailmon who live there are still Digimon and need love too. Give them a bath. Sing them a song. Treat them nicely, and they might give you a reward for keeping them company.
4 FIRE! 500 BIT The DemiMeramon's are a mischievous bunch, aren't they? Don't think so? Well, we hope that's not your house they're trying to burn down! A bunch of DemiMeramon are loose and setting fire to the outskirts of the city. Stop them before they destroy the whole city, but be careful! They may turn into Meramon, easy enough.
5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort.

And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect.
(NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game).

[This is most certainly not what Bruce had been expecting when he dozed off in Tony Stark's shiny red car.

As it is now he's heard the explanation and given his Partner - a Gatomon, it calls itself - but Bruce can't help but think how weird it all is, and sitting down on a bench at the moment he has said Gatomon in his lap as Bruce pretty much just... stares at it.]

You've been staring at me for a really long time now.

[Bruce jerks a little, still somewhat taken aback by the fact that it can talk, but his own curiosity is currently tampered by more important things at the moment - like all of this in the first place. Still, he supposes it is rude to stare.]

Ah--apologies. I'm just still trying to understand all of this.

[Gomamon just waves a hand - well, Bruce supposes its a hand - dismissively.] Eh, its okay. A lot of humans seem to have that reaction. At least you're not freaking out.

[Bruce just puts on a wry look here before he looks up, surveying his new surroundings. Freaking out is the last thing he can do, really, and since now he's here... Bruce supposes he should try and understand this new place he's in. At the very least, it seems... interesting.]

[Speaking of interesting...if he looks to his left he'll see a blond woman in a red sweater with black diamonds across the chest. She's balancing on a big rubber ball with two Digimon on her shoulders. One is a nervous looking little white Digimon that looks like a sad plush doll. The other is an impish looking black creature with unblinking eyes on it's head and claws. A glance at it's palms reveals an unsettling eye ball watching the world from a place where eyes simply shouldn't be.]

Hold still punch! All your trembling is really killing my buzz!

I don't like traveling like this Judy. Why can't we walk like normal Digimon?

Because this is way more fun!

[The trio seem oblivious to Bruce and his partner, except "Judy" keeps one of her two palm eyeballs focused on him as they roll along.]

[Bruce can't help but look up at the shout he hears, his interest perked momentarily. What he sees, of course, is pretty... well, interesting, for a lack of a better word. It seems like the Digimon are rather varied - quite unlike what he had first thought.

Still, he makes sure not to stare for too long, though. Attracting attention is never good, and so Bruce ducks his head back down after a moment and turns his gaze back to Gomamon, who's looking at him quizcally.]

Are you alright?

[Strange how something he just met a few minutes ago is already worried about him. It is kind of amusing, it its own way. Bruce manages a small smile and answers the question.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry for worrying you.

Here we go!

[Apparently oblivious to the other chosen the blond woman parks her ball next to a wooden stand sitting in the grass nearby. It looks like a children's lemonade stand but when she pulls out a sigh and hangs it from the front it says "Therapy: Make me an offer"]

You really need a more professional looking booth.

Oh yeah? Who's gonna pay for it? You? Judy?

Ha! I don't pay for anything. Not even bad choices.

[She takes a seat behind the stand, draws out a paddle ball and proceeds to wait]
