TEST DRIVE MEME -- DECEMBER
TEST DRIVE MEME Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR. For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice! That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go: 1 POWER PROBLEMS A swarm of Kunemon have invaded from the forest! Having electric attributes in their attacks, they're causing all sorts of power problems around the city. Can they be stopped before electrical fires start up? 2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme! 3) CRAZY WEATHER WE'RE HAVING!: Have you ever heard the expression "raining cats and dogs?" Well, now it's raining Gatomon and Doggymon, and they're understandably pretty unhappy! Or maybe you happen to be on one of the more normal weather days, like a sudden heatwave, or a freak blizzard, or a raging sandstorm! Better watch out for that tornado day, too. You're already not in Kansas anymore, after all! 1) BABYSITTER ANYONE?: 300 BIT Petermon’s a jerk. He’s used his abilities to brainwash some baby Digimon into causing havoc around the city! Stop them from wrecking everything, again, but don’t hurt them too bad! 2) WE CAN REBUILD IT: 500 BIT The poor, poor city. It's in shambles! You've been drafted to help fix it up, in whatever way you can. Planting trees in the park? Fixing holes in the apartment building? Reconstruction of entire shops? Hope you're good with a hammer. 3) I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE TRAILMON: 300 BIT Though they live in what's called a "graveyard", the Trailmon who live there are still Digimon and need love too. Give them a bath. Sing them a song. Treat them nicely, and they might give you a reward for keeping them company. 4 FIRE! 500 BIT The DemiMeramon's are a mischievous bunch, aren't they? Don't think so? Well, we hope that's not your house they're trying to burn down! A bunch of DemiMeramon are loose and setting fire to the outskirts of the city. Stop them before they destroy the whole city, but be careful! They may turn into Meramon, easy enough. 5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort. And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect. (NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game). |

This was not where Sunset had been planning on going, the portal was supposed to take her to Esquestria not. Some strange world with even stranger animals and one annoying pest that insisted on following her. Thankfully she still had the cloak she went through the portal with, so when the weather suddenly went crazy?
She pulled the hood up over her head and hunkered down.
"Sunny, wait! You'll catch a cold," the creature following her, her 'partner' shouted after the unicorn turned teenaged girl who was stomping through the streets of Tokyo.

"I'm telling you if you keep hanging out here, you're just gonna drop dead," he said. Ah, here's a perfect example coming right by, "Look at that kid. She looks miserable. You think this is normal?"
But Leatherhead only cared about the miserable part. Because she did look a little upset. He slowly approached the girl, "...are you alright?"
no subject
"N... no, I don't know why I'm h-here and all of this is just so. So overwhelming!" Sunset actually sniffles and clutches her cloak closer to herself. "And now it's raining."
She's putting on the best act of poor helpless girl, the question is will Leatherhead fall for it?
no subject
He points to Duke who snorts in response, "You want to use me as an umbrella. Great.
no subject
Sunset on the other hand is ignoring her digimon, and gasping at seeing Duke.
"But it's... it's horrifying!"
And she's going to cling to Leatherhead now.

"I'm not... not cold, but this place is just so scary," Sunset is really... laying it on thick. It's almost ridiculous.
Almost.
no subject
He only manages to say, "...did you find your place yet?"
no subject
Sunset does shake her head, sending some of the rain that's pooled on her cloak splash about. "No, I don't think so."
no subject
Leatherheas shrugs, "I can help you find it..."
no subject
"You can? O... oh I don't know how I can repay you for helping me, Mister."
no subject
Leatherhead shrugs, "...you do not need to repay me. I shall help, if that is your wish."
He wondered when the girl would be letting go.
no subject
"Yes, can you please?"

Petitmamon was hovering about looking concerned "Why so glum?"
Trixie just rolled her eyes "The Great and Powerful Trixie is missing her hat. And her horn. And her tail." She pouted.
no subject
"A horn, you say?" She needs to know if maybe this girl knows who she is, and if she'll have to get rid of her.
no subject
"Well, not that it's any of your business but yes. The Great and Powerful Trixie was not always restrained by this weak form. She was once a powerful Unicorn sorceress! Loved and feared across the land." She declared dramatically. Her impish little partner cooed and applauded.
no subject
"Well, I would hope it's my business. Since I'm in the same situation as yourself," she said, as she moves to join the other unicorn under the awning. "Being a former unicorn as well."
no subject
"Well now, that changes things doesn't it?" She reasoned. "Where do you hail from and by what name?" She inquired using her best, confident voice. Even now she couldn't resist the urge to showboat some.
no subject
"Sunset Shimmer, of Canterlot," It's only a teeny tiny lie. Kind of. That and she knows very few ponies probably even know who she is.
no subject
"Canterlot? Beautiful place. The Great and Powerful Trixie has had some of her best shows in Canterlot. And it has been far too long since she's had any of their famous doughnuts. Perhaps when this is all over she will have to make a return trip." She declared feeling the comfort of familiarity that drove away some of the gloom of this rainstorm.
no subject
"Ha ha, maybe maybe," she says, chuckling a little bit. "Although I spend most of my time studying so I may not be that fun to be with when we go home."
She's a lying liar, but hey whatever to keep things going smoothly for now.
no subject
"Well you know what they say about all work and no play." she reasoned with a nod. "But that's a problem for another day."
no subject
And now is when her own digimon actually does something, the Labramon had been dripping in silence next to Sunset this whole time and it was now... Going to shake itself dry like a wet dog. Getting a screech of angry surprise from Sunset Shimmer.
no subject
"Was that ENTIRELY necessary?!" She spat, her blue face turning red as cold rain water dripped off her nose.
Her own partner who had been quietly observing had also been splattered and responded in kind shaking her wand at the dog "Petite curse!" She hissed sending a bolt of black energy at the dogs rear.
no subject
And it's a good thing that Petitmamon attacked, since Sunset was going to kick Labramon. Instead she's just going to wetly fume.
"It's a pest that won't leave me alone, unfortunately."
