TEST DRIVE MEME
Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR.

For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice!

That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go:

MINI-EVENTS
1 POWER PROBLEMS A swarm of Kunemon have invaded from the forest! Having electric attributes in their attacks, they're causing all sorts of power problems around the city. Can they be stopped before electrical fires start up?
2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme!
3) CRAZY WEATHER WE'RE HAVING!: Have you ever heard the expression "raining cats and dogs?" Well, now it's raining Gatomon and Doggymon, and they're understandably pretty unhappy! Or maybe you happen to be on one of the more normal weather days, like a sudden heatwave, or a freak blizzard, or a raging sandstorm! Better watch out for that tornado day, too. You're already not in Kansas anymore, after all!

MISSIONS
1) THIS TOWN AIN'T BIG ENOUGH: 300 BIT The Terriermon and Lopmon have started a turf war! You've been picked to stop it. Watch out for the Terrier Tornados and Blazing Ice.
2) WE CAN REBUILD IT: 500 BIT The poor, poor city. It's in shambles! You've been drafted to help fix it up, in whatever way you can. Planting trees in the park? Fixing holes in the apartment building? Reconstruction of entire shops? Hope you're good with a hammer.
3) OPERATOR?: 800 BIT The forests of the Digital World are strange places, especially with everything merging together. It looks like an unusual amount of weird telephone booths are showing up all over the place, displaying weird bursts of static and odd messages. Track down the booths and see if there's anything of importance...or listen to how to travel to Mars with a canoe. The second one's more likely. Watch out for Kuwagamon. He's irritable.
4 FIRE! 500 BIT The DemiMeramon's are a mischievous bunch, aren't they? Don't think so? Well, we hope that's not your house they're trying to burn down! A bunch of DemiMeramon are loose and setting fire to the outskirts of the city. Stop them before they destroy the whole city, but be careful! They may turn into Meramon, easy enough.
5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort.

And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect.
(NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game).

"Hmm..." Trixie's optimism took a shot there at the idea that this hay seed had been stuck with some kind of stuffy nerd girl Digimon.

"Then perhaps we need to make some common ground. And Trixie perhaps has something to start that off." Reaching into her cloak she produced a bag with flourish and from inside drew out some brown bottles with pictures of apples on them.

"A green human boy found some apple cider in the rubble and was passing some out. Drink together and share in an appreciation for it's bubbly refreshing crispness!" She declared as if that would be an instant bridge builder.

Pawnchessmon took one of the bottles quietly and lifted up his helmet's visor pouring it into the darkness that obscured whatever body...if any, existed inside his armor.

That... was something Applejack would have never expected Trixie to say. And she liked it, really. It was spoken with her usual flourish, so it seemed to glorify the cider. And Applejack could get behind that.

"Well, alright!" she exclaimed, using one of her newly-acquired hands to take the drink. Hands were bizarre, but useful in their own way. Like animal paws. Kudamon took a bottle as well with a polite thank you before opening her own bottle. "Cheers all around, y'all!"

Trixie nodded watching them drink, smirking victoriously.

"There, now see how you both feel about the drinks. Discuss amongst yourselves the drinks and what other types of food and drink and candy you enjoy."

Heh. Applejack could definitely see where Trixie was going with this now. And she was appreciative. It was like some sort of ice-breaker, but involving her favorite subject. Actually, the cider made AJ feel a little homesick, but other than that, she smiled cheerfully at her Digimon.

"So, whatta'ya think of it, Kudamon?"

The Digimon swayed her tail in thought as she tasted the cider. "It's... interesting. Apple juice, but also a little fizzy. I do like it."

"Indeed. Trixie has found that while it is not as good as the drinks of her world, it makes for a decent substitute."

She tipped her hat back feeling particularly victorious.

"Now, Kudamon. Do you have any desires? Hopes? Dreams?"

The earth pony gave Trixie another smile, actually grateful to have her help. When AJ had come here for training, she had expected fighting. but, then, this was sort of like training too, wasn't it? Learning how to get along with your partner was crucial if you were going to be battling alongside each other. Trixie obviously knew that, and if she was going to give it her all, then Applejack was too.

"Dreams," Kudamon began, making a humming sound. "Well, my first dream is to restore the world. I want to be able to live peacefully with my friends."

"Me too!" Applejack grinned. "We all do, don't we?" She canted her head at Trixie.

"Trixie wonders about that..." She had met a few people that she wasn't sure took this whole "Save the world" thing seriously.

"But it's good you have a common goal. Now we need to see just how well the two of you can work together on a task...hmm." She stroked her chin in thought and from seemingly no where produced a red silk scarf.

"For your next test, we are going for a walk around the training area. Kudamon you are to act as Applejack's eyes and navigate her around the obstacles that Trixie and Minion put in your path."

"Minion" as he was sometimes called saluted and scurried off to get some items to use for this test as Trixie wasted no time in invading Applejack's personal space and blinding her with the folds of the silk scarf.

"Do well, for it will be your turn next and you wouldn't wish to invoke the ire of your partner." She warned.

At least Applejack hoped that the others in the vicinity wanted to help this world and get back home. That was what she meant, and she figured Trixie was in the same boat. Then again, AJ had experience with being a hero, needing to stop evil and save the world, so she did take it seriously. Whether other ponies did or not was not her concern, yet.

She made a sound of protest as the blindfold covered her eyes. She could have done it herself, easily! But it was already done by the time she knew what was happening.

"I understand," Kudamon replied as she uncurled and began floating in the air. "Do not worry, Applejack. You can trust me."

Applejack was quiet for a moment before nodding. "Ah know Ah can."

There was the sound of shuffling, clanking and clattering as the light on her feet magician and her living suit of armor scrambled around the training area and began throwing items onto the ground. Balls and weights and training weapons.

"From one side of the room to the other." She called cheerfully "Listen carefully."
