TEST DRIVE MEME
Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR.

For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice!

That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go:

MINI-EVENTS
1 POWER PROBLEMS A swarm of Kunemon have invaded from the forest! Having electric attributes in their attacks, they're causing all sorts of power problems around the city. Can they be stopped before electrical fires start up?
2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme!
3) CRAZY WEATHER WE'RE HAVING!: Have you ever heard the expression "raining cats and dogs?" Well, now it's raining Gatomon and Doggymon, and they're understandably pretty unhappy! Or maybe you happen to be on one of the more normal weather days, like a sudden heatwave, or a freak blizzard, or a raging sandstorm! Better watch out for that tornado day, too. You're already not in Kansas anymore, after all!

MISSIONS
1) THIS TOWN AIN'T BIG ENOUGH: 300 BIT The Terriermon and Lopmon have started a turf war! You've been picked to stop it. Watch out for the Terrier Tornados and Blazing Ice.
2) WE CAN REBUILD IT: 500 BIT The poor, poor city. It's in shambles! You've been drafted to help fix it up, in whatever way you can. Planting trees in the park? Fixing holes in the apartment building? Reconstruction of entire shops? Hope you're good with a hammer.
3) OPERATOR?: 800 BIT The forests of the Digital World are strange places, especially with everything merging together. It looks like an unusual amount of weird telephone booths are showing up all over the place, displaying weird bursts of static and odd messages. Track down the booths and see if there's anything of importance...or listen to how to travel to Mars with a canoe. The second one's more likely. Watch out for Kuwagamon. He's irritable.
4 FIRE! 500 BIT The DemiMeramon's are a mischievous bunch, aren't they? Don't think so? Well, we hope that's not your house they're trying to burn down! A bunch of DemiMeramon are loose and setting fire to the outskirts of the city. Stop them before they destroy the whole city, but be careful! They may turn into Meramon, easy enough.
5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort.

And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect.
(NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game).

[When he pops back up through the ladder hole he seems to almost disappear, despite the fire escape being full of holes, but he's landing on the ground a few moments later.]

Hold the phone where'd he--Kaiman nearly jumps from the speed of this kid. Jeeze, he must be some kind of magic user.]

Yeah, people like me.

Mikey...? That's a weird name. Uh...I don't really have a name, but Nikaido called me Kaiman.

Well, it's really Michelangelo, but most everyone calls me Mikey. And if you like Kaiman, that's what you should go with. I gave my boyfriend his name, and he likes it so it's the one he uses.

And I totally get you on preferring your real face... I miss mine. So.. uh... what part's your real face, and which isn't? Just asking.

You named your boyfriend? Is he your boyfriend or your pet?

[Sounds as legit crazy as everything else back in the Hole.]

So that's not your face?

[Another sigh. Oh right, the transformation's not completely undone is it?]

The not-lizard part, if you have to ask. At least...I think it's my real face.

He's my boyfriend, but when I first met him he didn't have a name, and everyone should have a name, so I figured one out for him. Him and I ending up boyfriends was... it's own thing.

[He seems none too worried about being asked a question like that, then again to him the answer is simple.]

Huh, nope? Back home I'm a turtle! Well a mutant one anyway. I miss my cute turtle face quite a bit in fact.

Too bad, the lizard part looks cool. But... you don't know if it's your real face?

He didn't have a name...? I guess...that was kinda like me and Kikaido! Though she'd kill me if someone said we were dating!

[Sheepish laugh.]

Huh!? You mean you got cursed too?! Or are you a devil?!

No...just that I got cursed by a magic user. And there's a man inside my mouth.

Not when we met him, but after he calmed down and we talked, I gave him the name Leatherhead. [He certainly looks proud of that name.] Why would she kill you? Why not kill the person who thought you were dating?

[Cue the teen looking confused.]

No, not cursed... and not a devil. Me and my brothers were all baby turtles when we got splashed with some mutagen stuff. We mutated into... well more like human and turtle mixes. And our Sensei was a human but he got mutated into more like a rat human mix.

There's a what in your mouth? How does he fit in there?!

You don't know Nikaido, she's special like that. And not literally! I think.

[He looks pretty confused himself.]

Yeah, that sounds like mutagenic magic. So you were just turtles...maybe your Sensei is a magic user!

A man...I don't know! I'm not sure! I think he might be my actual face...but arrrgh I didn't get to see before I got here!

Oh, well that's good, she really shouldn't kill you for that.

No way, Sensei doesn't do magic, we would have seen it. He's the one that taught us ninjutsu. Besides we found the weird mutagen stuff that changed us. There's no magic in our world.

Well... I don't know for sure, but I think this place will go with what you looked like before if it can. I mean it's kept somethings that weren't needed when turning others human. I kept my freckles, and my brother kept the gap in his teeth... it just goes for more to completely human.

But you really should calm down... it's alright buddy.

I don't know, some magic users hide it well.

[If you only knew, Kaiman....

He starts rubbing at his own head, slowly rising from his fallen spot.]

It's just...I don't remember anything: who put the curse on me, who I am...I'm--why am I telling you this!?

I don't even know you!

[Mikey just listens until he's asked that question, shrugging lightly as he would do if Donnie just asked him why he was still talking some science mumbo-jumbo at him.]

You were probably telling me because I'm friendly. I mean... I kind of do my best to be friendly with everyone. And... it's not like I'd tell anyone if you wanted to keep it a secret. I'm good at not talking about things.

[He's neither pressuring Kaiman to keep talking, nor is he trying to tell him he should stop.]

Hmm, that makes sense. And I mean, you're not a magic user, I don't see anything wrong with you...

[Has it been two minutes? Well damn.]

I'm hungry.

Haha, yeah, not a magic user. Closes thing I can do to magic would be using my ninja skills to disappear into my surroundings, but that's not really magic, just something I've trained a long time for.

Hungry? Well then I'll buy you something to eat. Do you like pizza?

[Even ask he asked he turned toward the pizza place and waved the other to follow him.]

I didn't think ninjas existed.

...what's pizza? Don't you have any gyoza?

[Still following anyway.]

Heh, you're normally not supposed to. But here it doesn't seem to matter much.

Pizza is only the best food ever, it's made with dough and tomato sauce, and any kind of topping you want, like pepperoni and mushrooms and olives or... well anything. Oh and cheese, lots of cheese.

I think there's a place with gyoza right near there, but I've never gone in... The pizza is where I normally stop.

That sounds...I don't know.

I'm stopping at the gyoza place. You don't need to come in, I'm just too hungry.

[Oh wait.]

...where is it?

Don't judge it til you try some, it's totally good. And so are pizza gyoza!

Well, I can't pay for your stuff if I don't come in, but it's all good, I'll have some stuff too.

[Mikey points to a noodle house a few doors down from where they are.]
