TEST DRIVE MEME
Interested in joining Terminal Tokyo? Well, before you apply feel free to testdrive any character you're interested in playing here! This is a good way to see how your character will work in the environment or even the potential CR.

For the sake of this meme you are allowed to choose your own partners but it will not count as game canon. Nothing that happens here will, it's just for practice!

That said we've decided to give you a bit of what you will see if you join the game. Keep in mind once a month we'll put up sets of missions your characters can join for bit, which is what some of these are! Others are mini-events. So here we go:

MINI-EVENTS
1 POWER PROBLEMS A swarm of Kunemon have invaded from the forest! Having electric attributes in their attacks, they're causing all sorts of power problems around the city. Can they be stopped before electrical fires start up?
2) BATTLE MUSIC: One of the shifts causes music to follow your character around for a maximum of two days. Are they upset? Rocking out? Whatever they're doing we hope they're enjoying their new battle theme!
3) CRAZY WEATHER WE'RE HAVING!: Have you ever heard the expression "raining cats and dogs?" Well, now it's raining Gatomon and Doggymon, and they're understandably pretty unhappy! Or maybe you happen to be on one of the more normal weather days, like a sudden heatwave, or a freak blizzard, or a raging sandstorm! Better watch out for that tornado day, too. You're already not in Kansas anymore, after all!

MISSIONS
1) THIS TOWN AIN'T BIG ENOUGH: 300 BIT The Terriermon and Lopmon have started a turf war! You've been picked to stop it. Watch out for the Terrier Tornados and Blazing Ice.
2) WE CAN REBUILD IT: 500 BIT The poor, poor city. It's in shambles! You've been drafted to help fix it up, in whatever way you can. Planting trees in the park? Fixing holes in the apartment building? Reconstruction of entire shops? Hope you're good with a hammer.
3) OPERATOR?: 800 BIT The forests of the Digital World are strange places, especially with everything merging together. It looks like an unusual amount of weird telephone booths are showing up all over the place, displaying weird bursts of static and odd messages. Track down the booths and see if there's anything of importance...or listen to how to travel to Mars with a canoe. The second one's more likely. Watch out for Kuwagamon. He's irritable.
4 FIRE! 500 BIT The DemiMeramon's are a mischievous bunch, aren't they? Don't think so? Well, we hope that's not your house they're trying to burn down! A bunch of DemiMeramon are loose and setting fire to the outskirts of the city. Stop them before they destroy the whole city, but be careful! They may turn into Meramon, easy enough.
5) TRAINING WITH CHOSEN: 100 BIT With some of the recent Chosen adjusting to their roles, some of the newer Chosen might be looking to them for help, which includes fighting experience. In the spirit of promoting such camaraderie, an observing or participating NPC will give those actively training a few bits for their effort.

And, as always, you're also allowed to do this in a free form! These are just ideas to get your gears rolling and see what to expect.
(NOTE: All missions and events are more light-hearted here, but will not always be in game).

[Seijuurou had no idea what happened to the last city all these people were in, but it was pretty clear that Hospitown was brand new and not fully completed. Nothing big- a few more cobblestones here and there, a few trees to plant. he didn't mind helping, considering he was getting free room and board... even if he wasn't 100% sure if this was real or not yet.

The broad shouldered swimmer is currently hauling some lumber down the street, his usual jacket gone due to the sweaty work. Behind him, bouncing to keep up with a hammer in it's mouth is a ModokiBetamon, making a dull 'plop' with every hop

Watch out- those boards are pretty long and easy to accidentally get hit with if a certain someone isn't paying attention like he should]

[For someone that was usually so dorkishly friendly and STILL convinced this was all in his head, Seijuurou gets pretty damn serious when a fight breaks out. His partner not having any energy attacks (that HE knows of at least) is not making fighting the little fireballs easier- she just keeps getting burned and making cute sad noises at him.

He had managed a plan though, and a small horde of the little bastards are now chasing them towards the pond.]

Keep up the heat, don't let them get distracted!

Right!

[She jumps at them, making rude faces before hopping away again- and heading right to the water.]

It happened, after about two hours of his laboring up and down the streets, that Seijuurou was the victim of cat-calls and wolf-whistles. Two female voices piped up from a nearby wall where if he happened to look up, there was an eyebrow-wagging Impmon, a disgrutled Kotemon and a long-legged, buxom, pink-haired woman. The woman was wearing one of the large, wide-brimmed hats and large sunglasses common among super-models. Her curvy form barely covered by a flowery sundress, feet in cute wicker platform sandals with ribbons tied around her ankles, all topped off with a parasol and large glass of lemonade.

She didn't say anything, just smiled slyly and reached beside her where another two glasses of lemonade sat, picking one up and holding it out.

The Impmon wasn't half as subtle.

"WOO WOO, KEP UP THE GOOD WORK HOT STUFF! YEAH YEAH!"

Many of the people in Hospitown would have been embarrassed. Or angry at least, at all the cat calls. But Seijuurou had been an athlete as long as he could remember- his body image was pretty good, and he was used to girls. He wouldn't at all say he disapproved of the attention, but as a professional he had to resist the urge to show off.

He approached as Roze offered the drink, smiling brightly.

"Thanks."

...though he does give Julie a wink before chugging, ModokiBetamon hopping over and grinning too.

Inclining her head in reply to the red-head's gratitude, Roze reached over for the second lemonade, nodding at the Kotemon, who dutifully hopped down from the wall and held out his hands, one for the hammer, the other for the lemonade, which he held out for the ModokiBetamon to drink.

Julie of course gave a double thumbs up and wagged her short tail at the man.

"What's your name, hot stuff? I'm Julie. Julie, got it? And that's Musashi. This is Roze."

"Hey."

"Name's Mikoshiba Seijuurou, this is ModokiBetamon. Kinda a mouthful, huh?"

His digimon trades with Mushashi, flopping back on her tail and holding the glass carefully in his clawed flippers and pouring it allll into her huge maw.

"Thank you~!" Her voice was sweet and child-like- a stark contrast to the human she was attached to.

"You're very welcome," the Kotemon replied with a stiff nod, watching the other digimon drink with mild interest. More interesting than the stupid girls flirting.

The Impmon choked on a laugh when Seijuurou said mouthful, looking at Roze who cleared her throat and twitched her lips, but managed to keep from snickering.

"Nah, it ain't that bad. Though you could always give her an easier name. and shorten yours. Geez. what's with a name like that?"

"You're being rude, Julie. He's Japanese. The names can get a trifle long when spoken, but they tend to be more elegant in writing," Roze remarked, leaning forward to - it appeared - fall off the wall, only to catch herself with an enormous scaled tail and lower herself down carefully. The tail hadn't been easy to see while she was sitting up on the wall.

"Its nice to see a little talent around here now and again. And always a pleasure to meet a fellow countryman. Ichishi Roze. And if you're looking for something simple and fitting for such a sweet partner, Doki seems sufficient."

'Whoa!" He jumps back a little, eyes wide. Digimon were bad enough- but other then the rare cat ears this was the most inhuman he had seen anyone yet.

He catches himself, coughing into a fist and trying to recapture his ease of conversation.

"Er... yeah, Doki could be cute. You like it, kid?"

"Hmmmm, if Seijuurou likes it, I like it!"
