Voice meme!

Since rp is a very writing based hobby, sometimes it's hard to 'hear' what someone you're playing with sounds like.

And that's what this meme is for! Post links to examples of your character's voice. Episode clips, musical numbers, voice clips, anything! For our friends with canons that are non verbal post examples of what you 'hear' your character sounding like!

To save all our browsers though, please don't embed videos: links are much easier to load after all!

Edit: For bonus fun tell us about HOW your character speaks and what you keep in mind when doing dialogue. I love headcanon-y info and thought process stuff like this, ha.

nobody told me jesse mccartney voiced robin.

. . . they probably didn't tell me for a reason. they definitely didn't tell me for a reason.

/quietly moves yj to top of watch list

Ohhhh yes. Come to us in the Young Justice fandom.

Heheh, I did. Funny thing is, overwhelmed is kind redundant when you consider the definition of whelmed. I mean, I don't think you can really be overwhelmed, because being whelmed is usually more than enough to begin with.

Sob. This muse possesses me, sometimes.

My roommate tried to make the whelmed joke with me and I was like ". . . I don't understand. Whelmed means exactly the same thing as overwhelmed. Basically." and she was like ". . . it's not a real word?" and I was like ". . . yes it is?" and so then she had to show me the clip from YJ and I had to look up whelmed for her and that's most of my experience with YJ, which everyone has been attempting to get me to watch while I go "nooooo no more superheroes ever!!!" thanks to my thesis.

(my thesis is a superhero comic.)

I do recommend watching it, myself. (Even though this show started my downward spiral into comics). I know a few people who watched it and just stuck with that, instead of going into comics afterward. The show is pretty good all on its own, and self-contained, so you don't need to go in knowing a bunch of stuff.

One thing I will say, though, as fair warning! If you do watch the first season and love it- tread lightly with the second season. For various reasons.

( gasp. So lucky.

But no, I can imagine how that would push someone away from it.
