Yeah? You ever see a great big Seifer? Almost as big as me? With a big scary scar across his face? [ She grinned, squinting a quick wink Squall's way. ]

The only way to defeat him is call him a Princess, kick him in the shin, and run. Its his only weakness. So if you see him, you be sure and give him hell, okay? [ She reached out, holding both hands open. ] You want a lift? You can see a lot further if you're up on my shoulders.

Seifer isn't big like that. But he is taller than me... do you think he's here too?

[ He gives her a nervous look and glances around. ]

...is it okay?

Its totally okay. I'm your big brave pet monster, remember? I'm here to make sure you're okay. That means all the shoulder rides and lifts and cool fights and everything else. Whatever you need me to do.

[ She leaned forward, scooping her hands under his arms and lifting him up easily, turning him at the last moment to duck her head between his legs and slid him over onto her shoulders. Not a height to laugh at, either. ]

I know for a fact there's a Seifersaurus Rex somewhere, but I don't know about any baby Seifers.

[ he let out a tiny squeal and latched onto her head as tightly as he could. She was so tall! He's never been up this high before. ]

Seifers gonna beat you up if he hears you call him a baby. He's really tough.

Nope. He's a big ol' pussy-cat. All roar and no scratch. You can tell him I said that. Mhm. [ She chuckled, keeping her hands on his legs as she headed off into the town, looking for the nearest path to the school. She figured he'd enjoy seeing the little digimon and it would give him a chance to be entertained by children who were nothing if not delighted to have him there. ]

You tell him if he wants to fight me all he ever has to do is ask. I'm always down for a date with Seifersaurus. He's just too chicken to face the Mighty Roze.

...Mighty Roze... how come your mine?

Well. 'Cause I promised I always would be. [ She replied after a moment, glancing up at him. ]

I said I'd always be your friend, and I meant it. If there's ever a way for me to be there for you, I will. Even if its not quite me, and even if you don't remember.

.... But I'm not all that great. Seifer is stronger than me... and he's not a big baby...

I've got a secret for you... [ She reaches up, tugging him gently from her shoulders to hold him in her arms instead for a moment. ]

He's a big baby too. All kids get sad and scared sometimes, pumpkin. Any kid that says they don't is a liar, and probably even more sad and scared inside than everyone else.

[ He buries his face into her chest for a few seconds before pulling away. ]

[ She blinked several times before staring blankly at him. eventually lips quirked and she had to stifle an explosion of riotous laughter that threatened to spill out. ]

Nope. Boobs. They're great for a lot of things, but most especially for this. [ She chuckled, squeezing him into a warm hug, rubbing cheek-to-cheek with him before pulling back and kissing between his eyes. ]

Almost wish you could stay this cute forever.

[ His face turns red and he starts wiping his forehead off. Only because it's something Seifer would do. ]

I'm not cute...

Really? Do you even know what cute is? [ She asked, moving him up to her shoulders again. ]

Yeah. Girls are cute.

[ He pats her head gently. ]

So you are cute.

Am I now? Remember you said that in a decade or so. [ She snorted, rolling her eyes and smiling as she shook her head. ]

Cute is also what you call things you like. Or you're fond off. Things that make you feel affectionate without being really in love. Like baby birds and lion cubs and fat little goldfish. You're cute. Girls aren't the only cute things. They're just really, really good at being cute.

[ He smiles down at her and gives her head a big loud MWAH! ]

[ She blinked, face turning bright red before she burst into laughter and spun wildly around, holding his legs tightly. ]

I'm not cute either! HA! [ She cried, stopping slowly and tugging his ankle lightly. ]

You know what is cute? Baby digimon. Have you seen any baby digimon yet? If not you're in for a treat. [ She remarked, heading into the school-grounds and walking around the building towards the recess area. Never a shortage there. ]

[ He giggles and hugs onto her head more so he doesn't fall off or anything. ]

Babies? Lots of babies?

Lots and lots of babies. Mhm. Cuter than me or anyone else. Even cuter than you and a Seifersaurus Rex. [ She nodded towards the playground where dozens of digimon of all ages bounced and ran and tumbled about in the chaos only Digimon could make. ]

They'd love to meet you.

[ He hides his face in her hair. They were scary ]

You? No way! You're the kind of person they're waitin' for, y'know? They just wanna have fun and play games. The thing is...

[ She sighed, reaching up and patting Squall's back lightly. ]

You worried about bullies?

Lemme tell you somethin' about bullies...

They're always even more sad, and scared and fragile than you are. They're not always bad. Sometimes they are. But most of the time they're just scared and stupid.

These little guys, they just wanna make friends and have a good time. You're bigger than most of them, so you gotta look out for them. You're the big brother now.

Yes you are. These are all little baby brothers and sisters that need your encouragement. They need you to watch over them and do your best, so they can learn to grow up and be big brothers and sisters. Then, one day, you'll carry them around like I'm carrying you.

[ He flushes and peeks out at them. ]

I will... do my best.

You just gotta be yourself, kiddo. They'll like you. I promise. Just be your bravest, and don't be scared of them, just because they might look a little funny, okay? Its never nice to judge someone just because they don't look like you.

Besides...[ She reaches up and plucks him off her shoulders, setting him on the ground. ] I'll be here the whole time. Waiting for you. should you need me, all you gotta do is call me. I'll be right there for you. Always.
